Art Deco Ruby Diamond Crop Brooch 18K Gold Platinum - Millbrook Gallery



A beautiful example of Art deco jewelry in the form of a riding crop. Circa 1930s

The equestrian crop features a round cut diamond set in a platinum box with milgrain edge and a handle that is channel set with 6 square cut rubies. The rose middle section is detailed with discs and a nice compliment to the platinum rounded end which represents the leather part of the crop.

Condition:
This collectible piece from the Art deco period is presented in a very good antique condition with minor scuffs and dents which can only be noticed under close magnification. The brooch pin is springy and slots neatly into the catch.

We have tested the gold quality to be of 18 karat quality. The gold pin is made in 9 karat gold and stamped as such.
